Ability to Send Email Notifications on Project Status, Non-OpenProject Users

We have members of the company who do not need to be "Users" in OpenProject but should receive notifications on progress of certain projects (Sales, Marketing, outside Customers, etc.). 

Is there an ability to add a "cc" list of non-OpenProject users who can or should receive updates when a Project or Work Package has been updated?

Is there a way to get this added to the "wish list"? How does that happen? Can I create a "wish list" item, or does that have to be done by a developer?

Hi John,

A possible workaround might be to set rules on your email client to forward emails from openproject to your customer depending on email content or metadata - whatever your email client supports. We do this with Outlook, and it's not perfect, but it works okay.
